More processed foods tend to negatively impact our bodies and our environment. As they are usually heavy in packaging, calories, salt and hydrogenated (processed) fats, and we have no idea about the other chemicals that may have been added to increase the flavour or lifespan.

Simply cooking more food can bring us happiness and health.

Food Is Life, and we should all be able to feed ourselves and our families healthy and nutritious meals.

Cooking for others brings us together, and feeding people feels good, it is a gift to the people that enjoy it.

Cooking can inspire creativity

Adding new herbs or spices to the mix and creating new flavours.

Cooking ‘from scratch’ ..

The freshness of food connects us to the wildlife that grows it, and the people who have worked with nature to provide it.

Cooking can give us time with ourselves or the opportunity of teamwork, it brings us in line with a calming pace of life - it takes attention or focus to cook a fresh meal.

We are all active participants in our food system.

Join us in The Cookery Conversation forum or take part in The Cookery Conversation Workshops – share your inspiring recipes, your wonderful flavours, and your home cooked delights, and be open to learn from everyone involved.
